Recently, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Michael and Margaret Tayler to reflect on Michael’s experience at Northern Cardinal after his recent discharge home.
A Convenient and Positive Journey
Compassionate care, expert therapy, and a warm, welcoming environment defined Michael’s stay. Margaret shared how pleased she was with the convenience of our location and the high level of attention Michael received throughout his recovery.
“Oh, it’s been a good experience. I think he had good care. I have no complaints,” Margaret said. “The therapists were excellent and very encouraging. It’s been very convenient, and everybody’s been very nice.”
The supportive atmosphere and commitment to uplifting spirits made their experience at Northern Cardinal even more special. Margaret emphasized how staff always encouraged a positive attitude, which made a big difference in Michael’s recovery.
Well-Balanced and Delicious Meals
A big part of feeling at home is enjoying good food, and Michael certainly appreciated the variety and quality of meals.
“The food was great—something new every few hours. The barbecue chicken with radish sauce was especially good and spicy—excellent!” he shared.
Dedicated Staff and Excellent Therapy
The Taylers praised our therapy team and nursing staff, highlighting their compassion and professionalism.
“Therapy is good. The nurses and aides were my favorite part of Northern Cardinal,” Michael said. He also appreciated the support from Sam in Admissions and McKenzie, our Social Worker, who helped guide them throughout the process.
